Mana! An Interview with Daphne Vinson

Daphne Vinson is a visionary leader from the East coast. She currently resides in New York, although her team is growing all across the country. A mother of three, she is passionate that she and her children represent a healthy Wakaya Perfection family. “All three of my kids are in the business,” she says. I am proud to say that, “We are a product of the product in the way we consume Wakaya products and the way that we follow the system in building this business from home.” She goes on to add, “I am not only grateful for what this opportunity has done for me, but that it has extended and strengthened the family ties in my life.

“I struggled with health issues for years,” she explains. Daphne explained that the last time she was out of the hospital, her cousin called to share the turmeric and ginger. After hearing about the opportunity and products, she said, “I had nothing to lose, I was all in.” After a month of starting Wakaya, I referred to my cousin calling me that one day when leaving the hospital as, “A gift from God.” She goes on to add that, “I not only felt better, but I was blown away by the leadership and team of caring people around me.”

Daphne has worked in human resources for years. She explains the dichotomy of leadership in traditional versus a network marketing business. She said, “The respect given to one another in my conservative job comes from what title someone holds. What I love about joining this community is that respect comes from leadership.” She then added, “I have never been in an environment that is so ingrained in hands-on people that push and motivate one another through every phase of the journey. We are a family.”

Daphne had the privilege to be at the forefront when bulaFIT came to life. “I thought the turmeric and ginger were amazing, but I can say with the addition of bulaFIT, my life changed.” She said, “My story continues to grow in this company, it is so easy to share with others because it is a lifestyle.” Daphne feels proud of her progress in Wakaya but says that “Things are just getting started.” Her excitement about the dream path of hitting Diamond Ambassador is not just highlighted by an increased income. The money is awesome, but a rank advancement is not only about the checks that are cashed. She says, “I know when I am at a top rank in Wakaya, that it will be a direct reflection to how many people I will continue to touch. It will be a reflection of how many lives my team and I have changed.”
