Mana! An Interview with Hervin Carrillo

This next Ambassador is becoming a staple in the Wakaya Perfection family, as he continues to inspire everyone daily with his high impact, active lifestyle. When not busy running obstacles like the Spartan Sprint or working on the BulaFIT Challenge, you can find this single dad raising four girls! Yes! Single dad, FOUR GIRLS! The oldest of which recently signed up as a new Wakaya Ambassador. Our growing Wakaya family is excited to welcome Hervin Carrillo as a new Ruby Ambassador

Hervin may reside in Virginia Beach, VA, but his diverse team spans the country. Not new to network marketing, Hervin explains that the shortest distance between you and success is through some amount of failure – which he credits to be one of his greatest teachers. Beyond Network Marketing, his entrepreneurial spirit unearthed new-found passions for therapeutic massage and personal training. When Wakaya was introduced to him, he was excited to find a business opportunity that was truly based around helping others. He said that this opportunity fell into this lap at the right time in his life. He goes on to say, “I am finally apart of a business that is not just about myself, but about everyone collectively.” Hervin believes in the integrity of Wakaya. -“Everyone in line with my business from my direct leaders to the owners, stand with the highest example of respected values and morals.” He expressed that for the first time he feels loyalty from an organization and that everyone is working together to create something special.


Hervin dedicated seven months right out of the gate to building his business. He explains that when starting, it takes true dedication and the willingness to sacrifice. He emphasizes the importance of self-development. Whether building a business or not, he believes that evolving personal development is imperative to any success you’ll see in this life. “Money will only grow as much as you are growing yourself as a leader,” he added.

Hervin expresses to anyone looking to start their journey in Wakaya - keep it simple. Follow the system and don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Further, that being consistent in utilizing the products, attending events and using the business tools will in turn help to grow your business. He closed with “Wakaya was actually fun to start. It truly is about helping others achieve success even if they couldn’t in the past. Here you see people gaining results from a health and physical standpoint as well as building teams to help facilitate the growth of their personal businesses.”
