Mana! An Interview with Lynn Gergely

​Our next Ruby Ambassador is one of the best from the Midwest! Lynn Gergely, born in Orland Park, Illinois, now resides in Frankfort, Illinois, with her husband and two growing teenage kids. This hard-working, stay-at-home mom always had a spirit for becoming an entrepreneur. Five years ago, she started making t-shirt blankets—a small business from home that blossomed from simple word of mouth. Lynn also dabbled in direct sales, but only to receive discounts on products that she loved.

Lynn shares that “before Wakaya, I never had an introduction, no team upline support, never had a getting started program. I basically signed up to get a discount for products I liked, and that was it.” Fast forward to January 2019, Lynn met Sarah Pease on a Facebook Live event for a keto cooking group. “Prior to Wakaya, I had lost 45 pounds doing keto, so I was apart of some online keto communities. When I saw Sarah making a keto chicken chili recipe and posting about the new CBD oil she had, I messaged her.” It was then that her amazing Wakaya Perfection journey began.

After suffering two failed neck surgeries and various back issues, Lynn’s chronic pain was becoming unbearable. Her first question to Sarah was “How do I get some of that CBD?” Lynn’s quality of life changed almost immediately after adding CIBI GOLD into her nightly routine. “I literally had no pain,” she adds. Logically, her second question to Sarah was, “How do I sell this stuff?”

Lynn refers to starting Wakaya as in the right place at the right time. “I had already lost weight on Keto, and after my pain subsided from using the CBD oil, I wanted to get involved in the business.” Soon after starting her business, Lynn’s friends started joining with her. “From the very start, I was plugged in every day. Never missed a Zoom, morning meeting, or [Facebook] Live. I learned the simple business building system. When I saw how duplicable the system was, I was hooked.” After hitting every Pacesetter rank, from Jr. to Pro, she’s now reached a key milestone as a Ruby Ambassador, and she is excited for her future here. “This is the first time I have a system that works. We always laugh because we are Wakaya 24/7.”

​Lynn’s advice to anyone looking to start, she says, “Do not be afraid to utilize Facebook Lives. I had to overcome the fear of going live, but it’s an easy and efficient way to get your testimony out there. Creating curiosity in others is number one!”
