How to Register

The registration process is simple. Click on the link below that best fits your request (90% will use the Individual Registration Link) and answer the questions that apply to you. You will need to have copies of either a Passport or Birth Certificate (to verify the name), depending on what form of ID you will be using to board the ship. If you are using a birth certificate and your last name has changed, you will need to provide the marriage certificate that verifies the name change. It is important to understand that when entering the name on the registration form that you enter the name that appears on the Passport or Birth Certificate as that is the name we are submitting for your ticket. For example, if your Birth Certificate says Michael and you go by Mike, you must enter Michael. There is a $25 fee for a name change after the information has been submitted.

After you have completed the registration form, log into your back office and make your deposit by using the code Cruisepay10 under Event Registration Category. You can also call Customer Service to make your payment. Once you have entered the item code, simply divide your deposit amount by 10 and enter that as your quantity. For example, if you owe $1,200, you would enter 120 as your quantity and it will charge you $1,200.

Your registration is not valid and cabins will not be held until a deposit has been made.

Pre-Trip Questions

The following information will likely answer most of your questions to help you with the registration process. We know that there are many other questions that will come up once you have registered. We have started a Wakaya Perfection Passport to Paradise Facebook Closed Group page to share information and as a forum to get your questions answered. You will be added to the group ones you have registered.

Once you have registered you will be added to the Wakaya Perfection 2018 Passport to Paradise Facebook page. Here you can ask questions, we will post videos about excursions and even run special promotions for extra perk.

Registration Deadlines
VIP Deadline—Those Ambassadors who purchased the VIP membership have first option to select cabin upgrades. Registrations and deposits must be submitted by October 20, 2017.

Regular Registration—Final registration ends on October 27, 2017. After this time cabin assignments are based on availability.

Pre-Trip Questions
Pre-event hotel—We have not yet secured a pre-event hotel for those who need to fly in on Saturday as per arriving on the day of sailing. There is no guarantee that we will be able to secure a large enough room block to accommodate everyone. It is best to start looking and reserves something if you find a good deal. You can always cancel it if the group hotel is a better option.

Transportation to the Port
The cruise line is asking that you do not arrive at the port earlier than 12 PM on the day of departure.

If you are staying at the corporate hotel, you will have the opportunity to purchase transportation to the port from Wakaya. However, most all local hotels offer some type of transportation to the port.

If you are flying in on Sunday and want to go straight to the port, you can reserve your transportation ahead of time or grab a taxi or Uber. This is the same process for getting back to the airport on the day of debarkation. We will post a link where you can pre-purchase your transportation or you can grab a taxi when you get off the ship.

The cruise line suggests that you do not plan your departure flight earlier than 12pm for Fort Lauderdale and 1pm for Miami. If you would like to take part of the walk off process where you carry your own luggage off, I’ve booked flights as early at 10am. You just have to be willing to move quickly and fight the crowds.

What’s Included?
Your reward trip includes a single berth, taxes, port charges, exclusive Wakaya Perfection meetings and event, gift items and marketing materials per guest purchased. Please note that some gifts and marketing materials will only apply to the qualified Ambassador. You will be responsible for your transportation to and from Port Everglades, any additional shipboard expenses, gratuities and port excursions that you choose to take.

Passenger Policies
Infant Passenger Policy
An infant must be a minimum age of 6 months old on the day of departure. The cruise line considers an infant passenger the same as an adult passenger. No additional discounts are giving. You can request a Pack n Play for your cabin. Based on availability.

Ambassadors Guest Policy
As a qualified Ambassador you are invited to bring up to 3 additional guests. However, cabins that accommodate more than two people are very limited and may not be available. Ambassadors wanting to request a second cabin must register for the first cabin and then request a second one. These will be issued after all qualified Ambassadors have made their requests. All additional guests are charged at the appropriate rate based on cabin category and number of people in the cabin.

3rd & 4th Guest Policy
Most Cabins will not accommodate a 3rd and/or 4th person. These cabins will be assigned based on availability. It’s important to understand that most often these sleeping accommodations for these guests are either the couch that is made into a bed nightly or one that is pulled down from the ceiling.

Guests traveling as a 3rd/4th passenger are invited to participate in exclusive Wakaya Perfections events based on availability regardless if they are also Wakaya Perfection Ambassadors. Gifts given to this group maybe be different than issued to the 1st and 2nd passengers.

The cost for these guest is determined by the cabin category and points may not be used as payment.

Selecting a Roommate
If you are traveling alone and are not aware of another single passenger, we will match you up with another Ambassador. Cabin upgrades for singles are not guaranteed as we must have another single Ambassador requesting that category. Roommate selections will not take place until late November.

If you do have someone you would like to room with, first check with them and make the request to room together and then when you register you will both be able to enter each others information.

Custom Cruise Costs, Deposits and Payment Schedules
Please take the time to watch the calculating your cruise costs video. This will help you understand your option. Otherwise we will be sending an email response letting you know the balance due based on your final points and cabin requests.

Initial Deposit
An initial deposit of $200 per person (for the first two people) and full amount of any 3rd and 4th passengers. This deposit it due by 20th if you are using your VIP status for an upgrades and October 27th for all others.

If you earned the full cruise, you will still need to make the $200 deposit per person if you are not bringing guest. This is to guaranteeing the cabin. This money will be refunded to you in CASH on the first day of sailing. If you have a 3rd or 4th guest, their payments will be sufficient.

Second Payment
A second payment 50% of your total balance is due by November 15th. The total due would include anything owed on the first two guests and upgrades as the additional guests have already been paid for.

Final Payment
The final payment of all charges is due before or on December 15th.

Cancellation Policy (per person)
Prior to October 30, 2017—Full Refund
October 30, 2017 – November 26, 2017— Penalty of $350 per person
November 27, 2017 – December 27, 2017—Penalty of 75% of total cruise value
December 28, 2017—No Refunds

Ship Board Questions
Do you have any medical conditions that the cruise line needs to be aware of?
Most medical conditions do not need to be reported to the cruise line prior to sailing. Women who are pregnant and who will be less than 24 weeks during the sailing, may participate. You are requested to submit a letter from your attending physician stating that you are fit to travel.

Dining Options
We are working with the cruise line to offer additional options that are Keto friendly, however they are generally good to provide options for all dietary needs. There is no need to notify them ahead of time.

Because of the size of our group we are unable to dine together at one seating. The group has been divided up into three different sessions: Early Dining 5:30pm, Late Dinning 8:00pm and My Time Dining. This will actually work great and each of you have different preferences.

My Time Dining means that you will be able to go in and customize your dining schedule based on the day. My Time Dining is open from 5:30pm – 8:00pm each night.

Dining times will be assigned the same as cabin categories with registered and deposited VIP’s and then high point earners next.

Wakaya Events
During the cruise Wakaya will offer a variety of events and meeting to all qualified ambassadors and well as guests when applicable. It’s important to understand that some gift that will be given out will be for Ambassadors who have qualified for the incentive only. If one of the guests you are brining is also an Ambassador, while we are excited they are cruising with us and attending the trainings, they will not receive any of these special recognition gift.

General FAQ’s
Q: I have an Ambassador who didn’t qualify, can they purchase a cabin from the Wakaya Group or directly from the cruise line on the same sailing date?

A: Because this is a recognition event it’s important to only allow those who qualified attend the event. We don’t allow non-qualified Ambassadors to purchase passage. On occasion we end up with last minute cancellation, at this point we open these cabins up to qualified Ambassadors and the to Ambassadors in general.  While we can’t stop them from purchasing directly from the cruise line, we highly discourage it. Purchases made through the cruise line will not be included to any of the Wakaya Exclusive Events.
